This ACEO is an original, NOT a reproduction. It is done on a heavy, lightly textured illustration board with acrylic paint, watercolor, and Prismacolor art markers. This ACEO is a one of a kind artwork by me and will never be reproduced.
I am doing 100 "themed" ACEOs as a creative exercise. This is theme 18- "Rainbow". As soon as I saw this theme on my list, I immediately thought of brightly colored faery wings, so that was what I featured here! The faeries wings were colored with watercolor pencil, then "painted" with water to make the colors blend. The faery's skin was then painted with acrylic paint, and the pink background was done using art marker. What a bright and cheerful ACEO!
