ACEO- 032 Night

This ACEO is an original, NOT a reproduction. It is done on a piece of lightly textured illustration board with ink and acrylic paint. This ACEO is a one of a kind artwork by me and will never be reproduced.

I am doing 100 "themed" ACEOs as a creative exercise. This is theme 032- "Night." The full moon and a smattering of stars shine down on the hills and trees, while a lone person star-gazes from under the protective branches. The black parts of this are ink, the white is acrylic paint, and the dark blue is actually the paper this was done on. The paper has been glued firmly to a piece of ACEO sized illustration board for stability.

Card has been signed and dated on the back by me. Please note that the watermark in the second image is NOT on the actual card.

WHAT IS AN ACEO?
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". These cards have one main rule - they are 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card.

Cards are also sold either as originals or editions. Make sure you know which you are buying! If it is a print it should say so, and it should be numbered and signed, usually on the back.

Art Cards can be a riot! Artists from all over the world are creating, and now selling these little gems in different mediums and of different subjects. Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, Colored Pencil, Pastels, Pyrography, Pen and Ink, Sketching, Collage - the sky is the limit. Abstract, Surrealism, Outsider Art, Impressionism, Expressionism -every style you can think of - and then some!.
