KAFMA-Flying Spaghetti Monster

Two small red short-haired Kafma (named Eff and Ess) and a large long-haired white Kafma (named Emm) have joined up to create an homage to the great and powerful Flying Spaghetti Monster, whose noodly appendages touch us all. These clever little Kafma have even made a felt, wire, and yarn headband for Emm to wear as the Flying Spaghetti Monster's eyestalks! What crafty little Kafma!

These three combined Kafma were an 8 hour long labor of love- about three times as much time and crafting as a normal Kafma- but the results were worth it! All three of the Kafma bodies were hand-sewn and stuffed with all new polyester fibers. The acrylic yarn "noodles" were then sewn in by hand. The eyestalk headband was carefully crafted from felt and yarn-covered wire, then attached to the main Kafma's top with fabric glue and several stitches to hold it in place. Pupils were painted on with black acrylic paint. The two smaller "meatball" Kafma were then sewn on by hand to make them part of the main body. Eff, Ess, and Emm WILL stand on their own!

Eff, Ess, and Emm are a combined 8 inches (21 cm) across at the bottom and 7 inches (17 cm) tall including the eyestalk headband. Theor "fur" is synthetic, and stuffed with all new polyester fibers. Eyestalks are made with yarn-covered wire for slight poseable capabilities. "Noodles" are cream colored acrylic yarn. All handsewn by me- this Kafma is a one-of-a-kind creation!

What are Kafma?
Kafma is actually short for "Kute and Furry Mutliplying Aliens". They are small balls of fur hailing from a planet far away. All they do is eat, reproduce, make a pleasant purring noise, and get into my crafting supplies to make costumes for themselves.

One day in December 2007, I woke up to strange balls of fur in my apartment. What a surprise when they informed me that they were Kafma, and had chosen ME to help them with their "tour" of the Earth! (Apparently they have visited Earth before, in 1967, but the human they chose actually sold them to appear in a sci-fi television show, and changed their name, so they went back to their homeworld for awhile before deciding to try again) Having no idea how to go about getting them on a tour of the Earth, I let them sit for a few weeks over the Holidays.

This was, apparently, a big mistake. The Kafma eventually got bored from sitting around and began to get into my crafting supplies. Now they delight in making costumes for themselves out of my stuff!

As a result, I've decided that the best way to get them on their tour of our planet is to ask my fellow Etsians for help! Please, adopt a Kafma today and let it see your home, before I get buried in balls of fluff!
