Red Pokemon Trainer Shirt WIPby ~lizstaley

Artisan Crafts / Costumery

My husband has decided that he wanted to cosplay as Red, from the Pokemon Special Manga. So, this is the shirt I made for him. It's really a red short-sleeve dress shirt and a white polo shirt that we bought and I cut both apart and stitched them back together.

The shirts kind of threw me for a loop though with the sleeves. See, the polo shirt we bought was larger than the dress shirt, so I thought I was going to have to make the sleeves smaller. Good thing I checked, because the arm holes in the red shirt were what needed to be smaller! That makes no sense to me, but whatever.

The shirt still needs the Pokeball emblem on the back, but otherwise it's done. I really like how it turned out.

Photo will probably be moved to scraps soon.
